Upload receipt photos and PDFs
Add receipts from your computer or phone, several at a time.
Open Add receipts
Everyone in the organization can add receipts, whatever their role. Press Add receipt on the Dashboard or on Receipts. The Add receipts drawer opens.
On a phone, press the + at the top of the screen instead. It opens the same drawer. For the camera and other phone shortcuts, see Add receipts from your phone.
Choose your files
The drawer says what happens: “Receipt photos or PDFs are saved when you press Add.”
Drag your files onto Drop receipt photos or PDFs here, or press Choose files and pick them.
Choose filesEach file appears as a small picture, with a count such as 3 photos ready. Press the × on a picture to take that file out. Press Choose more files, or drop more, to add others.
Press Add. Nothing is saved until you do.
What you can add
- Photos: JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, HEIC and HEIF (from iPhones), TIFF and AVIF.
- PDFs of up to 15 pages. A PDF with several receipts is split for you, one receipt each.
- Up to 10 files at a time, each up to 10 MB.
Use one photo per receipt, so each one is read on its own.
After you press Add
SlipInbox takes you to Receipts, where the new receipts show Processing while SlipInbox reads them. The fields fill in on their own, usually within a minute. See Receipt statuses explained.
If your plan’s receipt allowance can’t take them all, the drawer says how many more fit and nothing is saved. Add fewer, or see Your trial and receipt allowance.
If a file is not accepted
A message under the files names the file and says what is wrong. Nothing is saved until it is fixed.
