The client or project on every receipt
On the Business and Enterprise plans, add a custom field such as Project code. Describe where the code shows, for example printed on the invoice or written on the slip, and SlipInbox looks for the code on every receipt.
Project leads approve their own spend
A rule holds a receipt for one named member. Make one rule per large project, such as Project code contains ACME, and the account lead approves every receipt for the account. Anyone with approval rights still rejects as usual.
Each receipt waiting for a named member shows a notice with the member's name. Only the named member or an admin approves the receipt.
Ready at billing time
At month end, filter Receipts to the month and to approved receipts, and export with a layout holding the project code column. Sort the file by project code, and each client's receipts sit together.
Reports narrow to a single contact or category in one press, so you see who spent what before writing the invoice.
Consultants send, the office checks
Consultants forward receipt emails from airlines, hotels and taxi apps straight to your organization's address. A paper slip from a client lunch goes to SlipInbox on WhatsApp as a photo. Both come with the Business and Enterprise plans. Employees signed in see the receipts linked to them, while admins and accountants see the lot.
Questions
Does SlipInbox send invoices to clients?
No. SlipInbox prepares the receipts and the export. Invoicing stays in the tool you bill from.
Do consultants need an account to send receipts?
No. Anyone added on People sends receipts from their own email or WhatsApp number. People who check or approve receipts sign in.
What happens to receipts when a consultant leaves?
Their receipts stay with the organization, shown as added by a former member. Nothing gets lost with the account.
