Find your forwarding address
Every organization gets its own forwarding address, made from its name and four digits, such as acme-4821@… It is ready as soon as your plan includes email forwarding.
Open SettingsEmail.
Under Forwarding address, open the menu beside the address and choose Copy address.

What SlipInbox reads from an email
Forward the email as it is. SlipInbox looks for receipts in three places:
- PDFs attached to the email.
- Photos attached to the email or placed in its text. Small images such as logos and signatures are skipped.
- The email itself, when it has no attachments, such as an online order confirmation.
The same limits apply as for uploads: up to 10 files from one email, each up to 10 MB, and PDFs of up to 15 pages. Files that turn out not to be receipts are left out, and so are out-of-office replies and bounced mail.
Who can send receipts
Emails from your team’s sign-in addresses and from your contacts are read straight away. Anyone else waits under Unknown senders until an admin decides; see Decide on unknown senders.
SlipInbox never replies
SlipInbox never replies to anyone who forwards a receipt, and never sends the amounts it read back out by email. To see what happened to an email, look under Recent emails in SettingsEmail; see What happened to an email.
