Receipts for NGOs and nonprofits, ready for donor reports

Project officers buy fuel, workshop meals and venue hire far from the office. They send a photo of each slip to SlipInbox on WhatsApp, or forward the receipt to your organization's address. Nobody in the field needs an account or a new app. Email forwarding and WhatsApp come with the Business and Enterprise plans.

On every plan, a QR code poster in each district office lets volunteers on People scan, pick their name and send the slip from the phone browser.

An admin adds each officer's WhatsApp number on People, and the officer verifies the number once from the phone. A WhatsApp photo gets one reply once read, with the merchant, date and total. An email sender SlipInbox has not seen before waits under Unknown senders, unread, until an admin allows them.

On the Business and Enterprise plans, add a custom field such as Grant code. Describe where the code shows, for example handwritten at the top of the slip, and give one example. SlipInbox looks for the code on every receipt.

Export layouts let you tick the custom field as its own column, so each donor gets a file grouped the way the report asks.

Rules hold a receipt for one named person. A rule such as Total is more than 5,000 sends large spend to the finance manager, while everyone with approval rights still rejects as usual.

Approved and rejected receipts are frozen until someone reopens them, so the figures in a sent report stay the figures on file.

Programmes run across borders. SlipInbox reads the currency printed on each slip, and reports show one currency at a time with no conversion, so a total never mixes kwacha with dollars.
