Wholesaler slips, line by line
SlipInbox reads every item on a supplier slip with its quantity and price. An arrow beside an item shows the wholesaler charged more or less than on the last receipt, so you see margin pressure before the shelf price catches up.
Checks you set once
Rules flag the receipts worth a question. Try Item prices rose by more than 10% for supplier increases, or a cash total over a limit you choose.
A receipt resembling one you already have gets marked as a possible duplicate, with a link to the earlier receipt, so the same invoice never gets paid twice.
Each supplier counted once
Every spelling of a supplier on the slips files under one merchant. Reports then show spending by merchant and category over any period, and one press narrows the report to a single supplier.
Staff send, you check
Shop staff photograph receipts on their phones and send the photos to SlipInbox on WhatsApp, or email them to your organization's address, on the Business and Enterprise plans. Each WhatsApp photo gets a reply with the merchant, date and total once read. On every plan, staff also scan a QR code poster behind the counter, pick their name and send the photo, and you upload photos and PDFs yourself.
Questions
Is SlipInbox a point-of-sale system?
No. SlipInbox handles receipts for what the shop buys. Sales stay in your till or point-of-sale system.
Does SlipInbox read PDF invoices?
Yes. Upload a PDF, or, on the Business and Enterprise plans, forward the email the PDF came in or send the PDF on WhatsApp.
How does SlipInbox spot a duplicate?
A new receipt resembling one you already have gets marked and linked to the earlier one. You decide whether the second is a copy or a genuine repeat purchase.
