One poster per organization
An admin turns on the QR code under Settings, Integrations, QR code and presses Print. SlipInbox opens a page ready for the printer, with your organization's name and the code.
Print as many copies as you have places. Every copy holds the same code, so the staff room, each van and the site office all send to the same list.
Scan, pick a name, send
The phone camera reads the code and opens your upload page in the browser. Nobody installs an app, makes an account or types a password.
Scan the code with the phone camera.
Choose your name from the list.
Take a photo of the slip, or pick up to 10 photos and PDFs of 10 MB each.
Press Send.
Only names from your People list
The upload page offers the active people on your organization's People list and nobody else. Turn a person off on People, and their name leaves the page. A new driver starts sending once an admin adds them on People.
Each receipt lands in the same list as uploads, emails and WhatsApp photos, with QR code as the source and the chosen person as the sender. Rules, approvals and paybacks treat the receipt like any other.
Turn the code off, or replace the code
Turn the QR code off over a shutdown, and the page stops taking receipts until you turn the code back on.
Replace the code when a poster ends up somewhere public. The old printed code stops working straight away. Print the new poster and swap the copies on the wall.
Questions
Does the person sending need a SlipInbox account?
No. They need a phone camera and their name on your People list. Only the people who review and export receipts sign in.
Whose names appear on the upload page?
The active people on your organization's People list. An admin adds a person on People before they send from the upload page.
What happens when someone outside the team scans the code?
An admin replaces the code. The old poster stops working on the spot, and the new poster goes up in its place.
Do QR code receipts count toward the allowance?
Yes, the same as uploads. When the month's receipts are used up, or billing is closed, the upload page refuses new receipts.
Which plans include the QR code?
Every plan, Starter included. Email forwarding and WhatsApp come with the Business and Enterprise plans.
