From the hardware counter to the office
A site lead pays for cable, fittings and cement, photographs the slip and sends the photo to SlipInbox on WhatsApp, or emails the photo to your organization's address. No app to learn and no password to forget. Email forwarding and WhatsApp come with the Business and Enterprise plans.
Add each lead on People with their WhatsApp number or the email on their phone, and every receipt files under their name. A WhatsApp photo gets one reply once read, with the merchant, date and total, so the lead knows the slip arrived.
On every plan, pin a QR code poster in the site office. Anyone on People scans the code, picks their name and sends the slip from the phone browser, subcontractors without email included.
The job number on every receipt
On the Business and Enterprise plans, add a custom field called Job number. Tell SlipInbox where the number shows, such as written on the slip in marker, and give one example. The job number lands on each receipt where SlipInbox finds the number, and exports as its own column.
Each material as a line
SlipInbox reads every line on the slip as an item. An arrow beside an item shows the supplier charged more or less than last time, so a price rise on timber shows up before the next quote.
Card or own money
Save the last four digits of each person's own card on their contact. A receipt paid with one of those cards suggests who to pay back, and Reimbursements shows what each person is owed.
A rule such as Cash payment over 1,000 or Weekend spend flags the receipts worth a question before anyone approves them.
Questions
What if a slip has no job number?
The field stays empty. A rule such as Job number is missing flags those receipts, and someone in the office types the number in before approving.
Do site leads need an account?
No. Site leads send from their own WhatsApp number or email. Only the office signs in.
Does SlipInbox work with our accounting software?
SlipInbox exports CSV and Excel with the columns you choose, ready to import into the system your bookkeeper uses.
