Caretakers and contractors send, nobody signs up
Caretakers and regular contractors forward receipts, or photos of slips, to your organization's address. They need no account, and email gets no reply.
A caretaker who lives on WhatsApp sends the photo to SlipInbox's WhatsApp number instead. An admin adds the number on People, the caretaker verifies the number once, and each photo gets a reply with the merchant, date and total. Email forwarding and WhatsApp come with the Business and Enterprise plans.
On every plan, a QR code poster in each building's caretaker room works for contractors who never share a number. They scan the code, pick their name from People and send the photo.
A new email sender waits under Unknown senders until an admin allows them, and a WhatsApp number nobody added gets nowhere, so a stranger's slip never lands among your receipts.
The property on every receipt
On the Business and Enterprise plans, add a custom field called Property. Describe where the name or unit number shows, such as written on the slip, and give one example. SlipInbox looks for the property on every receipt and exports the field as a column.
Large repairs wait for you
A rule such as Total is more than 3,000 holds the receipt for the portfolio manager's approval. A second rule flags receipts with no tax ID, before the owner's statement goes out.
Possible duplicates get marked too, so a contractor sending the same invoice twice gets caught.
Questions
Do contractors need an account?
No. Contractors send from their own email or WhatsApp number. Only the people who check, approve and export sign in.
What if a contractor sends the same receipt twice?
SlipInbox marks the second as a possible duplicate and links to the earlier receipt, so nobody approves the same repair twice.
Does SlipInbox collect rent?
No. SlipInbox handles the receipts for money going out. Rent and tenant accounts stay in your property software.
