One number, every receipt filed under the right person
SlipInbox has one WhatsApp number. The sender's own number tells SlipInbox who sent the photo and which organization the receipt belongs to, so nobody types a name, a code or a subject.
A number belongs to one organization. When a number already belongs to another organization, the other organization removes the number from People first.
Verify a number once
An admin adds each person's WhatsApp number on People. SlipInbox then shows a link and a QR code for the person.
Send the person the link, or let them scan the QR code from your screen.
WhatsApp opens on their phone with a code already typed in.
They press send, and SlipInbox replies: the number is verified.
Send a photo or a PDF
Once verified, the person sends receipts to the same chat as photos or PDFs, one receipt per message. Each one becomes a receipt from the person, read the same way as an upload, with the photo kept beside the fields.
One reply per receipt
Once SlipInbox reads the receipt, the sender gets one short reply:
- The merchant, date and total, when the receipt was read
- A request for a clearer photo, when the slip was hard to read
- A note saying the photo was no receipt, which SlipInbox leaves out
Strangers get silence
Photos from a number nobody verified go nowhere and get no reply. The same goes for texts, voice notes and stickers. An admin turns a person's number off on People, or turns WhatsApp off for the whole organization, and their photos stop coming in.
Under Settings, Integrations, WhatsApp, admins see every photo and verification as they arrive, and what happened to each.
Questions
Does the sender need a SlipInbox account?
No. A person needs WhatsApp and a number an admin verified on People. Only the people who review and export receipts sign in.
What does the reply say?
The merchant, the date and the total, once the receipt is read. A hard-to-read photo gets a request for a clearer one instead.
Does one number work for two organizations?
No. A verified number belongs to one organization. To move a number, the first organization removes the number from People, and the second verifies the number again.
Which plans include WhatsApp?
WhatsApp comes with the Business and Enterprise plans, together with email forwarding. Every plan includes upload, the camera and the QR code poster.
