Forwarding receipts to an organization
For people asked to send receipts in. No account needed.
Where to send receipts
If an organization uses SlipInbox for its expenses, it may ask you to email your receipts in. You don’t need an account, a password or an app. You only need the organization’s SlipInbox address, which looks like name-1234@… Ask the person who manages expenses there for it.
Send from the email address you gave the organization, so it knows the receipts are yours.
How to send them
- Got the receipt by email? Forward that email as it is. The receipt can be attached or in the email itself.
- Got a paper receipt? Take a photo and attach it to a new email to the address.
- Several receipts can go in one email, as separate photos or PDFs: up to 10 files, each up to 10 MB, and PDFs of up to 15 pages.
- Use one photo per receipt. Make sure the whole receipt is in the photo and easy to read.
There is no need to type anything in the email. Any subject is fine.
What happens next
SlipInbox reads the receipts and adds them to the organization’s list, where someone there checks them. You won’t get a reply: SlipInbox never answers emails, even when it can’t use one.
If the organization hasn’t added you as a sender yet, your emails wait until one of its admins allows you. If you’re not sure your receipts arrived, ask the organization. Its admins can see the latest emails sent to the address and what happened to each.
