Add receipts from your phone

1. Press the + at the top of the screen, or Add receipt on the Dashboard or Receipts.

2. Press Take photo. To use photos you already have, press Choose files instead.

3. Fit the whole receipt in view and press the round button. The photo joins the list, ready to add.

4. Press Take another for the next receipt, up to 10 at a time. When you are done, press Add.

If a photo looks blurry or dark, SlipInbox says so and offers Retake. See Take a photo that reads well.

Allow the camera to take a photo, or choose files instead.

Your browser asked for the camera and it was refused. Allow the camera for SlipInbox in your phone’s browser settings, then try again.

The camera could not start. Choose files instead.

Another app may be using the camera. Close it and try again, or take the photo with your camera app and choose it.

This browser cannot open the camera. Choose files instead.

Take the photo with your camera app, then press Choose files and pick it.

SlipInbox can sit on your home screen like an app, and opens full screen under its own name.

• On an iPhone or iPad, open SlipInbox in Safari, press the Share button, then choose Add to Home Screen.
• On Android, open SlipInbox in Chrome, open the browser menu, then choose Install app or Add to Home screen.

Once SlipInbox is on an Android home screen, it also appears when you share photos or PDFs from another app, such as your gallery or your email.

1. Select the photos or PDFs, press Share and choose SlipInbox.

2. SlipInbox opens Add receipts with the files already in the list. Press Add.

Files that can’t be added are listed under Left out with the reason, such as a file that is not a photo or PDF, is too large, or goes over the limit of 10. If you see That share didn’t come through. Share the files again., share them once more; this can happen the first time after you add SlipInbox to your home screen.

iPhones don’t offer apps added from the browser in the Share menu. Use Choose files instead; see Upload receipt photos and PDFs.
