Add a tag
Tags group receipts by job, client or project, such as Job 114 or Acme fit-out. A receipt takes as many tags as you need, and one category beside them. Admins and accountants add tags and put them on receipts. Employees see the tags on their own receipts.
Open SettingsTags and press Add tag.
Type a Name of up to 48 characters. Two tags never share a name, whatever the case.
Add a Description if you like, up to 200 characters, such as the client and site behind a job number. Search on SettingsTags finds tags by it too.
Press Add tag.
Tag receipts
Open a receipt and use the Tags card. Search for a tag and choose it. Each choice saves at once and shows in the receipt’s history. To take a tag off, press the cross on its chip.
Tags stay open after you approve or reject a receipt, since they change no amount. Regroup a receipt whenever a job changes.
To tag many receipts at once, tick them on the receipts list, open the more-actions menu and choose Add tags… or Remove tags…. Other tags on those receipts stay as they are. See Work on many receipts at once for more on ticking receipts.
Find receipts by tag
On the receipts list, open Filters and choose one or more tags under Tags. The list keeps receipts carrying any of them.
- Exports and PDF reports from a filtered list hold the same receipts.
- Add the Tags column to an export layout to write each receipt’s tags in one cell. See Choose the columns in an export.
- On SettingsTags, press a tag’s receipt count to open those receipts.
Rename or remove a tag
On SettingsTags, open a tag, change the name or description and press Save. Every receipt carrying the tag shows the new name.
To delete a tag, open the tag and press Remove, then Remove tag.
