Belong to several organizations

Switch between organizations from the account menu, or leave one.

Join another organization

One account can belong to several organizations, with a different role in each. You join another organization when one of its admins invites your email address. If you already have an account, you’re added straight away; see Invite and manage your team.

You can’t start a second organization yourself. If you belong to no organization at all, for example after being removed from your team, SlipInbox offers to start a new one when you sign in.

Switch between organizations

  1. Press the three dots beside your name at the bottom of the sidebar to open the account menu.

  2. Under Organizations, choose the one you want. It opens on your start page there, the dashboard or Receipts depending on your role.

The list only appears when you belong to two or more organizations. The organization’s name under your own, at the bottom of the sidebar, shows which one is open, and each organization keeps its own receipts, settings and team.

Leave an organization

  1. Open the organization you want to leave.

  2. In the account menu, choose Account.

  3. Press Leave organization, then Leave. One of your other organizations opens.

  • Receipts you added stay with the organization you left.
  • You can come back only if an admin there invites you again.
You can’t leave your only organization; delete your account instead (see Delete your account). If you’re the only admin, make someone else admin before you leave.
