The review queue and keyboard shortcuts
Go through receipts one by one and decide each with a single key.

Open the review queue
The review queue shows one receipt at a time, with its photo beside the fields, so you can check and decide each one without going back to the list.
On Receipts, set the filters and order you want, or leave them as they are.
Press Review at the top of the page. On the dashboard, the same button sits beside Needs a look.
The queue takes the list’s filters and order. With no status chosen, it holds the receipts To approve: everything that is Ready or Needs review. It holds up to 200 receipts at a time; as you decide them, the next ones come in.
Decide each receipt
Above the receipt, the queue says where you are, such as “3 of 24 to approve”. Beside it are the buttons for the receipt in view:
- Approve or Reject decides the receipt and opens the next one.
- On a receipt that needs review, Mark checked takes the place of Approve. Fix what the notice points to first. The receipt then stays in view as Ready, so you can look once more and approve it.
- On a receipt that is already decided, Reopen takes the place of both. See Approve, reject and reopen.
- Previous and Next move through the queue without deciding.
After each decision, a line at the top says “The last receipt was approved.” (or rejected). Press Undo to reopen that receipt and go back to it.
You can edit the fields in the queue just as on the receipt page.
Keyboard shortcuts
On a computer, you can work through the whole queue from the keyboard. Press the keyboard icon after Next to show this list in the app. It isn’t shown on small screens.

The keys do nothing:
- while you type in a field, so you can correct a value safely,
- while a dialog, a drawer or the photo viewer is open,
- when you hold Ctrl, Cmd or Alt, so your browser’s own shortcuts still work,
- while the last decision is still being saved.
When you are caught up
When nothing is left to decide, the queue shows All caught up and says how many approved receipts are waiting to be exported.
Press Export to download them straight away (see Export to CSV or Excel), or Back to receipts to return to the list.
